This article talks about a Yale study that grades companies on their decisions to exit or continue operations in Russia after the Ukraine invasion. In many cases, companies with F and D grades (ie, continuing to operate in Russia) promote their social responsibility on their websites. These are cases in point as to why consumers do not believe organizations that do not have 3rd party validation/certification of their claims.
