June 2025 was the third hottest June on record, trailing 2024 and 2023.
As a year, 2025 is also settling into 3rd place, behind 2024 and 2023. It is unlikely it will overtake 2024 or 2023 as the hottest and second hottest years on record, but it is trending ahead of all other years.
The good news is we did not continue the pace of 2023 and 2024.
The bad news is our overall trendline, as you can see from the picture, continues to go up.
