EU to reduce emissions 90% by 2040!

The EU Parliament has voted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 90% by 2040.

With 1990 serving as a base:

• The EU has already reduced emissions 37% by 2023
• The EU is targeting a 55% reduction by 2030
