Per this article, the New York Assembly is considering Senate Bill S9072A, known as the Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act (CCDAA).

Similar to California’s corporate climate disclosure law, the CCDAA will initially require companies with annual revenues exceeding $1b, that are operating in New York, to prepare an annual report detailing emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3.

Remember, Scope 3 includes supply chain vendors.

If you are a vendor to a company that is over $1b, odds are, they operate in NY, and you will be impacted.
