- Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Therapy (IHHT), also known as Contrast Oxygen, and one of the modalities at Gym for the Brain, shows positive effects on age-related diseases including cognitive and physical improvement, increased quality of life, downregulation of glucose and cholesterol/LDL, decreased blood pressure, expression of senescence-associated markers; increased resistance to proapoptotic stimuli; prolonged periods of osteogenesis; and protection of cells from oxygen-glucose deprivation/re-oxygenation stress.
Imagine the impact of combining the above benefits with the benefits derived from the other Gym for the Brain modalities.
